<p>Once you have a copy of a diabetic diet chart, you need to remember to always fill it out, especially when you first start dealing with the disease.  Once you’ve gotten use to your new eating habits, you may be able to estimate your calories, carbs, fats, proteins, and other intake, but when you first start out, you’ll want the chart.  All you have to do is fill in the columns for the various types of food you eat and the different vitamins and minerals you bring into your body.</p>
